Families: Hardware Science Day experiments examine pressure
Hardware Science Day returns for a new school year and transitions to the first Saturday of every month.
Shawn Bjorback will present a free program at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Ace Hardware store, 356 36th St. in Sehome Village shopping center.
He will demonstrate the science of pressure, using everyday items found in the store to create simple experiments.
“Learn how pressure can cause balloons to blow up, cause things to float or fly, or even cause cans to implode,” Bjorback said.
