Mike Mathieu, known for his acting in the Cody Rivers Show and One-Man Wimbledon, returns to the Bellingham stage with a post-apocalyptic, two-man play co-written with Seattle actor Ryan Sanders, on stage at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 10-12 at iDiOM Theater, 1418 Cornwall Ave.

“After All” is the story of two residents of the post-apocalypse future, navigating life among their fellow scavengers and schemers. Jass wants to build a better tomorrow; Loop just wants to make it to tomorrow. Samuel Beckett-ish in its theme, social status is won and lost, love is sought and stymied, and gods are conjured and defied.

Mathieu and Sanders last collaborated in 2013, co-directing and performing “The Raft” by Ben Eisner.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door, available at idiomtheater.com.
