Music: Psychedelic rock and video Sept. 4 at The Shakedown

Darsombra, an audiovisual psychedelic-rock band from Baltimore, performs with Bellingham’s Pan Pan and Seattle’s Detlef at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at The Shakedown, 1212 N. State St.

The transcendental rock duo Darsombra —Brian Daniloski, who alternates between guitar riffs, leads, loops and soundscapes; and filmmaker Ann Everton, who accompanies him on synthesizer, gong and vocals, while projecting her kinetic, psychotropic videos composed to Daniloski’s music — blend metal, psychedelic rock and experimental influences.
