Taylor Swift wears Christian Dior wedding dress to marry Travis Kelce
It's a love story, and Taylor Swift picked out a dress by Christian Dior Haute Couture for her wedding to Travis Kelce on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden.
The groom complemented his bride in a look also by Christian Dior Haute Couture.
The couple's wedding looks were designed by Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Dior's women's, men's and haute couture collections, in close collaboration with the bride and groom. The gown marks Anderson's first couture wedding dress created for a globally recognized celebrity.
Their shoes were also custom designed by Christian Louboutin, while the bride completed her look with Cartier jewelry, a longtime favorite.
Swift and Kelce opted against having traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, her brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Jason Kelce stood by his brother's side as best man. The ceremony, which brought both families together, was officiated by family friend Adam Sandler.
While the choice of Dior may seem like a departure from her regular rotation of designers, Swift has showcased her love of the French fashion house on several occasions, most notably at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. The star walked the carpet in an edgy yellow tartan corset ensemble from the brand's 2025 resort collection. Also a fan of Dior handbags, the singer has often accessorized her street style looks with some of the brand's most iconic styles, from the Saddle Bag to the Lady Dior, famously named after Princess Diana.
Anderson, Dior's creative director since 2025, has worked closely with a slew of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron and Rihanna. His dress for Swift follows his wedding look for Chinese supermodel Ming Xi earlir this year.
Speculation around who would design Swift's wedding dress revved up in the weeks leading up to the big day.
In June, the star stepped out for several events teasing designers that she could potentially wear, donning a Givenchy gown at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony and a sparkling, sunshine yellow Oscar de la Renta dress at the Los Angeles premiere of "Toy Story 5."
While Swift loves a designer label, she has never been known as a front-row-at-Paris-Fashion-Week, luxury-brand-muse kind of It Girl. But the star has cultivated a loyal collective of her favorite brands, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney and Area (recall her famous Super Bowl jeans).
And when it came to her wedding dress, fans wondered if her bridal look would resemble the wedding dresses she previously donned in the music videos for "Willow" and "I Bet You Think About Me."
Throughout history, we've seen our fair share of majestic wedding dresses that forever influenced the bridal industry, from Princess Diana's taffeta ball gown and cathedral-length train to Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's slinky slip dress. Will Swift's dress join them? We'll let you be the judge. But one can assume that it won't be long before Swift-inspired gowns hit the bridal market.
