Summer House's Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle's Friendship Highs and Lows

Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera's friendship was a constant on Bravo's Summer House before their 2022 feud - and they've since continued to have their ups and downs.

Viewers had a front row seat to Lindsay and Danielle's special bond since season 2 aired in 2018. After four seasons of supporting each other on screen, things took a turn when Danielle didn't congratulate Lindsay on her engagement to Carl Radke in August 2022.

At the time, Danielle claimed that her decision not to address the news on social media didn't reflect her status with Lindsay.

"Social media is a strange animal. I think that I was just exhausted from summer. … I am obviously very, very happy for them," she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2022.

One month later, Lindsay and Danielle confirmed that they were at odds after filming wrapped on season 7. However, once Lindsay and Carl called off their engagement in August 2023, Danielle was there to pick up the pieces.

When the Summer House spinoff In the City premiered in May 2026, Lindsay and Danielle were once again at odds after Lindsay dug up the past and Danielle's alleged sexual exploits with Carl.

Summer 2017

Lindsay and Danielle met while filming season 2 of Summer House in summer 2017. The pair became fast friends and were later called the "Three Amigos" along with Carl.

Summer 2019

During season 4 of Summer House, Lindsay briefly dated longtime friend Carl. When they split, Danielle made out with Carl, which fans saw on the season finale. (Carl and Danielle previously dated ahead of Carl's reality TV debut during season 1 of the series.)

August 2022

Rumors swirled of a potential feud between the Summer House costars when Danielle did not congratulate Lindsay on her engagement to Carl.

September 2022

During an interview with Us, the entrepreneur revealed whether she reached out to Lindsay and Carl after they got engaged.

"Social media is a strange animal. I think that I was just exhausted from summer. I'm juggling so many things. I am obviously very, very happy for them," she told Us about contacting the fellow Summer House stars offline. "I did not see it coming. But who could not love love?"

October 2022

"I think there was a lot of stuff [that] happened this summer," the Hubb House PR founder exclusively told Us at BravoCon about the "unfortunate" change. "I can't really get into too many of the details, but she betrayed me a lot, a lot. [There were] things that a best friend shouldn't do to your best friend, and I'll just leave it at that."

Lindsay added: "I mean there's only, like, a handful of reasons why you don't support your best friend in vague chapters of their life. There's only a handful of reasons. You have to dig deep and figure out what those reasons are."

February 2023

According to Lindsay, season 7 of Summer House would offer her answers about her rift with Danielle.

"I look forward to figuring that out along with the viewers, because I spent my entire summer just very confused," she shared with Us about her plans to tune into the hit Bravo series. "I would never have guessed that this is where our friendship would've ended up."

She continued: "When we got engaged and the way that she reacted - it was kind of, like, the straw that broke the camel's back me. Because all summer I'm listening and hearing all these hurtful things that she's saying about us. It seemed like she was very supportive of us walking into the summer and then all of a sudden that didn't happen, and her dialogue became the opposite of that."

March 2023

Lindsay clapped back after Danielle claimed her former friend didn't try to mend their rift because she was planning a wedding.

"No.. I didn't reach out because I wasn't ready to forgive all the things she did and said over summer - where she made it clear she was not in support of my growth & happiness," Lindsay wrote in the comments section of Instagram account Bravo By Betches. "You cannot be a bad friend to someone and then expect them to be a supportive friend back to you. Makes no sense. Sorry."

March 2023

Throughout season 7 of Summer House, which filmed in summer 2022, Danielle voiced concerns over Lindsay and Carl's accelerated romance. "That's what I'm scared of, it's a little too fairy tale-like," Danielle said during the March 13 episode. "They're playing house."

The tech guru confessed that she "1,000 percent" thought the couple were moving too fast. "I think to get engaged right now would be crazy," Danielle told some of her housemates.

During the March 27 episode, Danielle called out Lindsay for changing her personality - and party girl ways - amid her romance. "To be honest, you are curbing your drinking or intensity when you're around him," Danielle told the publicist, who responded, "Isn't that kind of a good thing?" Danielle, however, didn't let it go, confessing, "I fell in love with you the way you f-king were."

Lindsay then fired back at her former BFF: "Danielle, you're always hard on me. You've been getting very hard on me." Danielle then quipped, "Oh, I'm sorry. If your best friend is not f-king hard on you, she shouldn't be your best friend."

May 2023

After a summer full of tension, viewers finally saw what happened between Lindsay and Danielle after Carl proposed to the publicist during season 7, episode 13, of Summer House. The episode, which was filmed in August 2022, revealed that Carl popped the question without running it by Lindsay's then-BFF Danielle - despite the fact that the women had been feuding all summer.

"I'm glad Carl included me in the whole thing because that's really f-king cool. Whatever," Danielle sarcastically said during the show after learning from Kyle Cooke about the proposal. "It says a lot without saying anything."

The app designer called the moment "so f-ked up" as she held back tears. "Carl didn't say anything to me," she reiterated before speaking directly to the cameras about her anger. "This is my girl who I've been rooting for, especially when it comes to men. She's finally got her Prince Charming and I'm not part of that? It breaks my f-king heart."

Elsewhere in the episode, Lindsay expressed frustration after learning that Danielle had been complaining to all her friends at her engagement party about the special moment. "You made my entire engagement - the happiest moment of our lives - about you," Lindsay told the cameras, claiming that Danielle's actions were "just the icing on top of what you've done all summer."

She added: "Not only are you not my best friend anymore, but you're not my friend. Zero. Zilch. Done."

June 2023

During part 2 of the season 7 Summer House reunion, Danielle and Lindsay argued once again over the source of their friendship fallout. In the end, they both vowed to try and fix what was broken.

"I just want this friendship … to at least start something new. To figure us out. That is what has been missing in my life and I'm sure in yours," Danielle said. Lindsay, for her part, added, "I think that the bond that we have is very special. I am hopeful that we can find a version of that after this."

The episode concluded with Carl sending a text to Andy Cohen with a "live update" on the women's dynamic. "Got Lindsay and Danielle at dinner! Will keep helping things along," he wrote in a message sent shortly after filming the reunion. "What a day. Thanks again for your guidance and support. Appreciate all that you do!"

September 2023

While Lindsay and Carl broke up in August 2023, Lindsay's pals still treated her to a bachelorette party. Danielle was by Lindsay's side during the trip to the Bahamas, seemingly proving they were friends again.

October 2023

Danielle was close with both Lindsay and Carl before their 2022 engagement, but after the couple split, Danielle chose to have Lindsay's back. "People are like, ‘Do you talk to Carl?' I'm like, ‘No, absolutely not,'" Danielle exclusively told Us. "There's a line in the sand. I'm on Team Lindsay."

Danielle revealed that it "f–king sucks" to see Lindsay heartbroken, even if she had reservations about the union from the start. "I'm not going to say that she's doing great. No, she's doing OK," Danielle said of Lindsay. "I mean, breakups [are] not great at all. So, I think that she's going through it."

Summer 2024

While Danielle exited Summer House in June 2024 ahead of season 9, she made a few cameos throughout the season.

During one episode at the beach, Danielle grilled Lindsay, who was pregnant with her first baby, about why she wasn't living with her then-partner Turner Kufe.

"You don't live together? And you let him put a baby inside you?" Danielle questioned. Lindsay replied, "Yeah." Danielle added, "I just don't want it to feel like you're single mom-ing this up."

Despite their tension on the beach, Lindsay and Danielle were all smiles in Italy that June as they celebrated Summer House costar Andrea Denver and Lexi Sundin's wedding.

October 2024

Danielle was among the Summer House stars who attended Lindsay's baby shower. "Baby shower for baby cub I couldn't help but wonder … will baby cub's birthday parties be more over the top than her mom's?? @lindshubbs," Danielle captioned a series of Instagram photos from the celebration.

Lindsay's baby girl, Gemma, was born in December of that year. Danielle later confirmed that she met Gemma shortly after her arrival.

May 2026

During the In the City premiere - which premiered on May 19 and filmed in September 2025 - Lindsay claimed Danielle was sexually involved with her ex-fiancé, Carl, after she and Carl split for the first time back in 2019.

Lindsay alleged during the Summer House spinoff that "every year" starting with season 4 on the Bravo series in 2019, Danielle has done something to "s***" on her.

"Carl and I try to date, [it] didn't work out. He breaks up with me," Lindsay said of her and Carl's brief 2019 romance. "One week later, she's giving him a hand job in the back of an Uber."

Lindsay doubled down on her allegation, telling Kyle that "Carl and I got engaged, [Danielle] had a freak out. Before Carl and I got engaged, she gave him a hand job in the back of an Uber a week after we broke up. That's f***ing weird."

Danielle revealed during the episode that she and Lindsay hadn't spoken in four months at the time of In the City's filming in September 2025. She also claimed that Lindsay had "ghosted our friendship" after she met Lindsay's daughter Gemma.

When it comes to Lindsay's sex act allegations, Danielle's rep denied them, telling Page Six in a statement, "The allegation is completely untrue and always has been. It has been very upsetting for Danielle, particularly as a woman, to have these baseless and damaging claims resurfaced again. It is unfair to continue subjecting her name and reputation to allegations that have no basis in fact and absolutely no truth to them."

Danielle chimed in as well via her Instagram Story, writing, "Just in case this isn't actually cleared up later on, it was a lie then, it's a lie now."

Lindsay clapped back at Danielle's denial via her Instagram Story, writing, "Rewatch season 4 and call me later," adding an eggplant and a hand emoji.
