Members of the group will have telescopes to observe anything in the sky — including the sun, moon and stars. They will be there until just before the park closes at 10 p.m.
The event is weather-permitting — there’s nothing to see in the event of rain or thick clouds — but current forecasts call for clear skies. More details: whatcomastronomy.org.
