Skagit Valley tulip farms staying open one more weekend for ‘last chance blooms’
Don’t worry, you didn’t miss the Skagit Valley Tulips!
Three Skagit County farms participating in the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival have extended their tulip season planned to end on Wednesday, April 30. Now, three out of the five festival farms will remain open through Sunday, May 4.
The tulip fields across the valley are currently in the “last chance bloom” stage, according to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival website, as late-blooming tulip varieties are still showing bright colors.
Although the official festival only runs April 1-30, here are the farms you can still visit for another weekend to catch vibrant colors before they are gone:
▪ 5 acres of tulips, a beer and wine garden, a trolley, a gift shop and food vendors.
▪ Tickets cost $18 online and $20 in person for all ages.
▪ Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
▪ 15002 Bradshaw Road, Mount Vernon.
▪ 20 acres of tulips, a u-pick tulip field, an audio tour, farm animals and a nighttime laser and light show.
▪ Tickets cost $7 for ages 3-15, $10 for ages 16 and up.
▪ Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
▪ 15245 Bradshaw Road, Mount Vernon.
▪ 7 acres of tulips, intricate flower designs and a gift shop.
▪ Tickets cost $17 for all ages.
▪ Open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
▪ 16648 Jungquist Road, Mount Vernon.
