Car show: Fourth Corner Elites host annual event Aug. 22

Fourth Corner Elites Car Club’s 35th annual Summer Show and Shine is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Deming Logging Showgrounds, 3295 Cedarville Road. The event showcases collector cars of all ages, styles and makes.

Proceeds benefit Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office’s Project Santa Claus, and the club gives a $2,000 scholarship each year to a student to pursue an automotive career at Bellingham Technical College or Western Washington University.
