Whatcom Museum’s Lightcatcher and Old City Hall galleries will be open free for the monthly Downtown Bellingham Art Walk from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7.
Among the exhibits are “Helmi’s World: Symbol, Myth and Fantasy,” featuring pieces in a variety of media that are inspired by Northwest Indian culture; and the Bellingham National Art Exhibition and Awards, a juried multimedia exhibition.
Old City Hall is also open with an exhibit of renowned photographer Paul Bannick’s “The Owl and the Woodpecker.”
Lightcatcher galleries are 250 Flora St. and Old City Hall galleries are at 121 Prospect St. For a list of other participating venues, go online to downtownbellingham.com/art-walk.
