Skagit Valley Tulip Festival guide: Laser shows, vivid fields of flowers, parades and more
The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is returning to Whatcom County’s southern neighbor, Skagit County, during the month of April. The annual festival features five local farms, acres of blooming flowers, a parade, tours, art exhibits, a street festival and more.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Farms
Each of the five tulip farms in Skagit Valley offer unique attractions and tulip fields for visitors.
▪ 7 acre flower display and 50 acres of tulip fields, food vendors and a gift shop.
▪ Tickets cost $16 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday.
▪ Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

▪ 3 acres of tulips, cafe, gift shop and garden center.
▪ Tickets cost $18 for adults, $10 for ages 6-11, $15 for seniors and military, and free admission for ages 5 and under.

▪ 5 acres of tulips, beer and wine garden, trolley, gift shop and food vendors.
▪ Tickets cost $18 online and $20 in person for all ages.

▪ 20 acres of tulips, u-pick tulip field, audio tour, farm animals and a nighttime laser and light show.

Tulip festival events
▪ This 38th Annual Tulip Parade on April 5 will feature a kids zone with games, face painting and other activities before the parade at 2 p.m. This year’s parade will also be on a car-free route without parked cars on the streets, increasing visibility for viewers.
▪ The Tulip Festival Original Art Exhibit will be on display April 5-11 at The Local Shop at 817 Metcalf St. in Sedro-Woolley, and then at the Depot Arts Center at 611 R Ave. in Anacortes from April 18-25.
▪ The Tulip Festival Street Fair will feature over 140 vendors, food trucks, entertainment and live music. The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 19-20, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 21 in downtown Mount Vernon.
