Almost three decades after launching one of contemporary music’s most diverse careers, Bruce Hornsby still makes joyful noise by tapping into a variety of genres, including pop, jazz, bluegrass, country, and modern classical.
Nothing better illustrates that collaborative spirit than Hornsby’s communion with his longtime band, the Noisemakers, a powerhouse ensemble with impressive musical chops. The Noisemakers are comprised of JV Collier on bass, JT Thomas on keyboards, Gibb Droll on guitar, Ross Holmes on fiddle, and Moyes Lucas on drums.
Hornsby and his band perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Mount Baker Theatre, 104 N. Commercial St. Tickets, $32 to $62, are at 360-734-6080 and mountbakertheatre.com.
