Looking for a fun event in Whatcom County this holiday weekend after your turkey dinner?

The Bellingham Herald has put together a list of local activities for you and your family this weekend:

Beach clean-up event — Friday, Nov. 25

Instead of Black Friday shopping, RE Sources, a local environmental nonprofit, invites you to come help clean up Little Squalicum Beach from 10 a.m. to noon. Snacks and cleaning supplies will be provided, and the event takes place in Bellingham at 640 Marine Dr.

Bingo night at Menace Brewing — Friday, Nov. 25

Menace Brewing host bingo nights from 7-8 p.m. every Friday until Dec. 30. Cards cost $1 each or five cards for $10. Menace Brewing is located in Bellingham at 2529 Meridian St.

Native American Heritage Day Event — Friday, Nov. 25

The Friday after Thanksgiving is recognized as Native American Heritage Day, and the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship will be recognizing the holiday from 3-5 p.m. with a concert. The church is located in Bellingham at 1207 Ellsworth St.

Distillery Tour and Tasting — Friday, Nov. 25 and Saturday, Nov. 26

Chuckanut Bay Distillery hosts distillery tours and tasting events that include a souvenir glass and two mini cocktails along with the hour-long tour. The tour costs $20 per person and is held at the distillery in Bellingham at 1311 Cornwall Ave. Tours are held at 6 p.m. on Nov. 25 and at 4 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Salmon Sighting Event — Friday, Nov. 25 and Saturday, Nov. 26

The Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association will be hosting salmon sighting events from noon to 3 p.m. and they will include free refreshments, games and prizes for those who attend. Both events are located at Arroyo Park in Bellingham at 1016 Chuckanut Dr N.

Bellingham Farmers Market — Saturday, Nov. 26

The Bellingham Farmers Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1100 Railroad Ave.

Holiday Market — Saturday, Nov. 26

Living Word Bible Church will be hosting a holiday market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to fund a gift to children of Ukrainian refugees in Greece and send them to summer camp. The event will include photos with Santa Claus, food and gifts. The church is located at 7053 N Enterprise Rd. in Ferndale.

Turkey Trot — Saturday, Nov. 26

The Lummi Island Foundation for Education will host its annual turkey trot from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and invites you and your dog to dress up in a costume and run or walk the route. Drinks and snacks will be provided. The event is located at and raises funds for Beach Elementary School, at 3786 Centerview Rd. in Lummi Island.

Semiahmoo Sips — Saturday, Nov. 26

Semiahmoo Resort will host its weekly Semiahmoo Sips event from 2-4 p.m. where visitors can visit the Semiahmoo Wine Cellar and try four wines for $20 per person. Reservations are not required, and the resort is located at 9565 Semiahmoo Parkway in Blaine.

Shop Small Saturday Market — Saturday, Nov. 26

The Bellingham Makers Market will host a vendor market at the Granary building in Bellingham from noon to 8 p.m. The market is located at 1211 Granary Ave.

Holiday Market — Saturday, Nov. 26

Boundary Bay Brewing Co. will host a holiday vendor market for Shop Small Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The market is located at the brewery in Bellingham, at 1107 Railroad Ave.

Village Books Saturday Story Time — Saturday, Nov. 26

Both Village Books and Paper Dreams’ locations will host a free story time of stories and movement for children from 11-11:30 a.m. The Bellingham store is located at 1200 11th St., and the Lynden location is at 430 Front St.
