Families: Bellingham Public Library hosts chess tournament

Hot Summer Chess, a Grand Prix tournament, continues free for children kindergarten through high school from 5:45-8:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, in the downstairs Lecture Room of the Bellingham Public Library, 210 Central Ave.

Check-in is from 5:45-6 p.m. for players of all abilities, beginner to experienced. Advance registration is required. E-mail bhoglund@cob.org by Monday, July 13. Include the player’s first and last name, with the grade and name of the school they attended in May 2015.
