Music: Pianist Arnaldo Cohen at Bellingham Festival of Music
Brazilian-born pianist Arnaldo Cohen performs at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, at Western Washington University’s Performing Arts Center for the Bellingham Festival of Music. He will perform the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor.
Also on the program: J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G major, featuring Richard Roberts on violin, Christina Smith and Todd Skitch on flute.
The Festival Orchestra is comprised of world-class musicians from major North American orchestras, conducted by artistic director Michael Palmer. A free pre-concert lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. in WWU’s PAC Concert Hall.
