Egg hunts, brunches and more. Find an Easter weekend event perfect for you and your family

Easter weekend is coming up and these Whatcom County businesses are hosting Easter egg hunts and events for kids, and adults as well.

Here’s where you can join in on a hunt and other Easter festivities:

Lettered Streets Covenant Church Easter Egg Hunt

This Easter egg hunt is for children 10 and under and includes a special egg hunt for toddlers, crafts, an inflatable slide, snacks and prizes for children.

The hunt begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Fouts Park, 1100 Ellsworth St. in Bellingham and is free for all attendees.

Easter Events at Semiahmoo Resort

Semiahmoo Resort annually holds events all Easter weekend, including live comedy nights, an Easter egg hunt, Easter brunch, and selling custom Semiahmoo Easter baskets.

The Easter egg hunt takes place at 9 a.m. and noon on Sunday, April 17, and is free for all ages and there will be prizes.

Semiahmoo also has two Easter brunch options Sunday, offering a view of the golf course at Great Blue Heron Grill from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., or a waterfront view at Packers Kitchen from 8 a.m. to noon.

Semiahmoo’s comedy night is Saturday for those ages 21 and above. The show starts at 7 p.m. and costs $30 for resort guests and locals.

Semiahmoo Resort is located at 9565 Semiahmoo Parkway in Blaine.

Bellewood Farms Easter Celebration

Bellewood Farms Easter Celebration takes place Saturday and Sunday and features a scavenger hunt, tractor train rides, live music, free photos with the Easter bunny, the Ten Mile Cafe and a distillery tasting room for adults.

The Ten Mile Cafe will have lunch options and cider donuts, and the farm will have plant starts for sale. At the distillery tasting room, attendees 21 and older can taste farm-made spirits, cocktails, or beer and ciders on tap.

The event is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, and is located at 6140 Guide Meridian Road in Lynden.

Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch at Boundary Bay

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro will host its annual Easter festivities 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and features an Easter buffet brunch with Easter egg hunt for children.

The Easter egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. in the beer garden, and diners’ kids should bring Easter baskets to collect eggs.

The Easter buffet brunch opens at 10 a.m. and will provide gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. The menu features brunch offerings such as spring vegetable quiche, Parmesan black pepper biscuits, cinnamon french toast casserole and Cajun home fries.

Reservations are recommended for brunch and can be made online at OpenTable or by calling 360-647-5593. The buffet costs $35 for adults, $18 for children and $26 for seniors.

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro is located at 1107 Railroad Ave. in Bellingham.
