Dance: ‘Fiddlin’ Fox’ dance, music series Sundays in July

From 2 to 5 p.m. every Sunday in July at Fairhaven Village Green, 10th Street and Mill Avenue, enjoy a free outdoor music and dance series that encourages participants to enjoy a variety of music styles and to try dancing, with a free lesson for all ages at the beginning of each show.

The series is hosted by Linda “Fiddlin’” Fox, a fiddler who has been bringing live music to dancers in the Bellingham area since 1981.

Here’s the schedule:

July 5: Lost Highway Band (country western)

July 12: Alma Villegas (Latin beat)

July 19: Balkanarama (gypsy Balkan)

July 26: Swamp Soul (Cajun)
