Music: Live music every Wednesday in July on Bay Street
Downtown Bellingham Partnerships kicks off its free, family-friendly Levitt AMP summer Downtown Sounds concert series on Wednesday, July 1, in the 1300 block of Bay Street. All events begin at 5:30 p.m. and run until about 9. The lineup:
July 1: Third World, with opening act Yogoman Burning Band.
July 8: Acorn Project, with opening act McTuff.
July 15: Polecat, with opening act The New Triumph.
July 22: Ayron Jones, with opening act The Scott Pemberton Trio.
July 29: Five Alarm Funk, with opening act Baby Cakes.
There will be a beer-and-wine garden, with beverages from Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro pouring every week, and Aslan, Chuckanut, Wander and Honey Moon breweries each being featured a different week, as well as food trucks and a “kids’ corner.”
