Families: See Native American flute player during Summer Solstice Art Walk in Fairhaven
Native American flutist Peter Ali will be performing as part of the annual Summer Solstice Art Walk, scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 19, in downtown Fairhaven.
Ali, who is of Yaqui heritage, teaches at Northwest Indian College and performs around the Northwest with his hand-carved traditional cedar flutes. He’ll share his music, tell stories and discuss his art from 5-7 p.m. Friday on the main floor of Village Books, 1200 11th St.
