If you want to take better photos of the wildflowers at Mount Rainier National Park, the Washington Native Plant Society has a program to help accomplish that.
Donovan Tracy will share tips based on his experiences from spending hundreds of days in the field. Tracy, working with David Giblin, collections manager for the University of Washington Herbarium, has also helped produce a wildflower guide for the subalpine and alpine areas of the park.
The techniques covered in Tracy’s presentation are suited for novice photographers to serious amateur photographers who desire to more thoroughly study and photograph plants in their natural environment.
He also will talk about one of his favorite wildflower hikes at the park.
