Downed trees, power lines force closure of Camano Island State Park

Camano Island State Park is closed because of downed trees and power lines, according to an alert issued Friday by Washington State Parks. Wind speeds reached 21 mph at 3:43 a.m. Friday according to camanoislandweather.com.

Camano Island State Park is a 173-acre park with 6,700 feet of shoreline and is open for camping year round.
