Mount Rainier National Park evacuated as Kautz Creek floods road

All visitors and employees at Mount Rainier National Park are being evacuated as the Kautz Creek continues to flood the road between the Nisqually entrance and Longmire.

A park alert was issued about noon.

It’s unknown when the park will reopen. No injuries were reported.
