The public has one week remaining to comment on proposed changes to fishing rules for the Columbia River Basin. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will accept written comments through Dec. 1. They extended the public comment by about two weeks and public meetings are scheduled for Dec. 12-13 in Olympia.
Fisheries managers have recommended 32 proposed rule changes. Visit the WDFW website to read the proposals.
