The Mount St. Helens Institute recently announced a weeklong donation matching opportunity that will benefit the nonprofit organization.
Five anonymous donors have pledged $35,000 to match donations MSHI received through Nov. 15. The Institute says the donations will donate their science, education and stewardship programs.
“Thanks to the leadership and generosity of these five supporters, we look forward to welcoming an ever-widening circle of donors who want to be a part of the Mount St. Helens Institute,” Tod Thayer, Mount St. Helens Institute’s executive director, said in a prepared statement. “We know the opportunity to leverage their dollars will be good news to donors at all levels.”
The MSHI, founded in 1996, will hold a fundraising dinner and silent auction Nov. 15 at the Vancouver Hilton. For more information or to donate call 360-449-7883 or visit mshinstitute.org.
