The National Park Service has selected a Fife company to renovate the Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center, Olympic National Park announced Thursday morning.
The $1.14 million contract was awarded to Tactical Constructors Corporation and NLC General, Inc., Joint Venture.
Work on the expansion, ADA modifications and new roof starts Monday, Sept. 8. On Friday, Sept. 5, the visitor center services move to a temporary location, a trailer in the visitor center parking lot.
The Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center was built in 1963.
