ABOUT THE PARK: Operated by the Port of Clarkston, the 6-acre park sits on the bank of the Snake River. It has been landscaped with plants that were native to the area more than 200 years ago when the Lewis and Clark Expedition went through the region.
RIVERS & RIDGES: Families can take part in the 15-mile ride along the Snake River or the more demanding 50-mile loop tour through Appaloosa country to Spalding Park. Those riders who really want a test can do the 100-mile ride that will climb more than 2,000 feet to the rolling Palouse. There will be a spaghetti feed the night before the ride.
