Pelican Micro Case
THE DILEMMA: If your idea of keeping valuables water-safe involves something that resembles a Ziploc baggie, you should check out Pelican's 1020 Micro Case. Made from an impact-resistant polycarbonate casing with a rubber liner that seals to make it watertight, crushproof and dustproof, it will keep your small electronic or personal items safe through any adventure.
A TOUGH CASE: It won't just protect them from a few light splashes. The case can be submerged under 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes, according to IP67 testing standards. Although it looks like a simple design from the outside, it's actually pretty high-tech with a special pressure valve to balance interior pressure and keep water out.
THE DETAILS: It has stainless steel hardware and includes a carabiner to connect to a pack. Interior dimensions are 5.31 by 3.56 by 1.68 inches; exterior dimensions are 6.82 by 4.75 by 2.12 inches. The case is clear to show contents, but the liner comes in multiple colors: black, yellow, blue and red. Several other sizes are available.
PRICE the 1020 Micro Case, the cost is $20.95.
