Lake Ten

This lowland walk-in lake is nestled on the upper slopes of Devil's Mountain southeast of Mount Vernon. Once accessible directly by logging road. gates have blocked the easy approaches and anglers must enter on foot via Amick Road and Devil's Mountain Road off Little Mountain Road

Season: Year-round.

Angler amenities: Its relative isolation makes it worthwhile if you are willing to walk in. Lunker fish are reputed to reside here.

Surface area: 17 acres.

In the catch: Cutthroat, rainbows and the occasional eastern brook.

Stocking for 2008: None.

Special rules: None, statewide season, size and bag limits apply.

Boat launch: Skagit County Parks – on Baker Lake Road.

Getting there: Take Interstate 5 to Cook Road then drive east to Sedro-Woolley. Take Highway 20 south to Big Lake. Turn right on West Big Lake Boulevard to Little Mountain Road and the turn off onto Amick Road.
