Bells continue to roll, top Cowlitz 5-2

The Bellingham Bells are looking for another sweep, and started off the series against Cowlitz with a 5-2 win on Monday, July 6, at Joe Martin Field, extending their win streak to six games.

Bellingham got off to a quick start, scoring four in the first inning. Most of the damage came way of Patrick McGrath’s three run shot.

Andrew Summerville threw four innings of shutout ball, striking out seven, and Nate Higa, Justin Courtney and Brice Longanecker were able to hold off the Bears.

Bellingham takes on Cowlitz again on Tuesday, July 7, at Joe Martin.
