Wilkinson was the quick time qualifier. Heat winners were Shaun Holtorf, Tanner Holm, Lance Sargent and Jake Mann.
A miscue by race leader Jared Gundersen was all Tyson Cross needed to return to victory lane at Deming Speedway in the Shots 2 Go Espresso 1200 class.Brock Lemley would run second and Gundersen recovered for third. Lemley nearly completed a clean sweep of the night, setting quick time and winning his heat race. Eric Turner was the other heat race winner.
Mike Volbrecht dominated the Northwest Focus Midget Series main event, Vollbrecht started on the pole and led all 25 laps of the feature, winning by a large margin for his second win of the year at Deming Speedway. Tristin Thomas was fast time, with Colton Heath winning the heat.
