Local golfers’ results from Washington Open Invitational

PGA Professional Darren Black of the rainier Golf and Country Club in Seattle won the 89th Muckleshoot Casino Washington Open Invitational by two strokes on Wednesday, May 20, at Meridian Valley Country Club, in Kent.

Lake Padden Golf Course’s Luke Bennett tied for 21st with a 2-over par 218.

Cameron Fife of Bellingham Golf and Country Club, Mike Fields of Sudden Valley Golf and Country Club, and Jeff Neely of Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club finished tied for 62nd with three others. They shot 11-over par at 227.
