Boris Knyazev scored 17 seconds into overtime, as the Bellingham Blazers Wenatchee 3-2 in a NPHL hockey game at Wenatchee Saturday, Jan. 31.
The Blazers used a first-period goal by Mason Wade and a second-period score by Justin Sullivan to take a 2-1 lead into the final period, but the Warriors scored with an extra attacker with just 1:46 left in regulation.
Knyazev ended it, though, when he stole the puck in the neutral zone and raced down the right side for the winning score.
Kacey Walker and Mark Klasen assisted on Wade’s score, while Garrett Foster got the assist on Sullivan’s score.
