Softball umpires needed for various leagues

The Whatcom County Umpires Association is now recruiting for new softball umpires.

The umpires officiate slow pitch (co-ed, women and men's leagues) as well as fastpitch (youth, high school, middle school and summer club leagues).

Benefits of being a certified umpire are good pay, schedule flexibility, free training and opportunity to advance.

The first meeting is a meet and greet on Sunday, Jan. 25. For more details, contact Steve Hoffman at umpiresteve@comcast.net or 360-303-0265.
