Vladislav Yefremov had a hat trick to lead the Bellingham Blazers to a 8-2 win over the Eugene Generals on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Bellingham Sportsplex.
Yefremov assisted on the Blazers’ first goal, scored by Nick Scherbinin and also assisted by Mason Wade just 53 seconds into the contest. Eugene leveled the score later in the period.
From there, Yefremov took over. He scored all three of his goals in the second period for a natural hat trick. Boris Knyazev assisted on each of Yefremov’s goals.
Bellingham got goals from Kristjan Toivola, Mark MacDonald, Wade and Scherbinin in the final period. Yefremov added two more assists and Wade and Knyazev each had one more.
The Blazers hit the road for a weekend series next with Cheney on Friday Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
