Burbank and Peterson lead Squalicum to 4-0 win

Brandon Burbank and Ben Peterson each scored two goals to lead Squalicum’s boys’ soccer team to a 4-0 win against Lynden on Monday, May 4, at Civic Stadium.

The Storm out-shot the Lions 18-2 in the game. Hector Gutierrez had 8 saves for Lynden in goal.

“They played really well. Brandon Burbank had a lot of great work in the midfield and Luis Gonzalez played an incredible game.”

Squalicum will be the No. 1 seed in the Class 2A Northwest District tournament and plays Sehome next Saturday, May 9, at a time and place to be determined.
