Bacco-Guidroz scores two goals in Squalicum’s 4-0 win

Eli Bacco-Guidroz scored two goals to lead Squalicum’s boys’ soccer team to a 4-0 victory against Mount Baker on Thursday, April 30, at Whatcom Community College.

Squalicum’s Ramon Beltran and BJ James scored the other two goals in the game. Beltran had two assists for Squalicum.

Mount Baker was out-shot by Squalicum 17-5.

“I was pleased with the play of our defenders,” Squalicum coach Joe McAuliffe said in a phone interview. “BJ James had a gorgeous goal, Ramon played in two good crosses and Eli had good finishes tonight.”

Squalicum will take on Lynden next at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 4, at Civic Stadium. Mount Baker is eliminated from playoff contention.
