Mascioli scores lone goal for Bellingham in 4-1 loss

Bellingham’s boys’ soccer team was defeated by Sedro-Woolley 4-1 on Tuesday, April 28, at Northwest Soccer Park.

Will Mascioli got the lone goal for the Red Raiders off an assist by Noe Betancourt-Cruz in the 53rd minute. Jackson Price scored two goals for the Cubs in the match.

“This was a must-win for us,” Bellingham coach Matt Zigulis said in a phone interview. “We took a lot of chances throughout the game and they didn’t pay off.”

Bellingham will take on Lynden Christian next at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Civic Stadium.
