Blaine falls to Burlington-Edison 5-1

Konner VanRijswick scored the lone goal for Blaine’s boys’ soccer team in its 5-1 loss against Burlington-Edison on Tuesday, March 24, at Pipeline Fields.

The Borderites’ Tristan Soto saved 12 shots in the game.

“The first half was almost perfect except for the goal at the end,” Blaine coach Giovanni Queseda said in a phone interview. “They left everything on the field today even if the score says different.”

Blaine takes on Sedro-Woolley next at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 26, on the road.
