Adam McCluskey, an incoming freshman defensive end/tight end at Squalicum, was invited to attend the USA Football Development Games from July 12-16 in Canton, Ohio.
McCluskey will play defensive line at the camp but also might see time on the offensive line. He’s the second member of the Bellingham Bulldogs youth football team to be selected to the camp, joining incoming Ferndale freshman Geirean Hatchett.
Like Hatchett, McCluskey in May attended a Seattle-based regional development camp, where he earned the invitation to this week’s Development Games.
At the Development Games, McCluskey and Hatchett will have an opportunity to play alongside some of the nation’s top players in their age group and possibly be selected to Team USA to play against international teams this summer in Arlington, Texas.
