Lynden High School will be pre-selling tickets for Saturday’s Class 2A state championship football game against Sedro-Woolley from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 3-5, at the main office.
Tickets prices are the same as they will be at the Tacoma Dome for the 1 p.m. kickoff — $15 for aduls, $11 for sudents with ASB card and seniors 62 and older. Cash is required to purchase the pre-sale tickets.
Tickets are good for the entire day, including the Class 1A title game between Cascade Christian and Colville (10 a.m.), the Class 1B championship matchup between Neah Bay at Liberty Christian (1 p.m.) and the Class 4A showdown between Bothell and Chiawana (7:30 p.m.). Separate admission must be paid for the two title games on Friday, Dec. 5, featuring the Class 2B game between Napavine and Okanogan at 4 p.m. and the Class 3A game between Bellevue and Eastside Catholic at 7:30 p.m.
Lynden (12-1) earned the right to play for its fourth straight 2A state title and its sixth in seven years with a 33-6 semifinal win over Ellensburg on Saturday, Nov. 29, at Moses Lake. Sedro-Woolley (12-1) upset top-ranked Tumwater 28-27 on Saturday at the Tacoma Dome to advance to its first state final since 1983.
