Question: How did you first start playing football?
Answer: I started playing flag football in the fifth grade.
Q: What do you like most about playing football?
A: Football is the one sport that allows me to completely utilize my competitive nature.
Q: What is your favorite part of game night?
A: I really look forward to the singing of the national anthem every game night, because I love the feeling in the air and the patriotism.
Q: What is your favorite football memory?
A: Defeating Meridian my junior year, in what we now call The Fog Bowl.
Q: What is your favorite play to run on game night and why?
A: I love to run counter left early in the game, so I can put a big block on an unsuspecting defensive end.
Q: Who is the funniest guy on your team and why?
A: Nathan Kramme tells the best jokes and stories that can always make anyone laugh.
Q: What is your usual/favorite pregame meal?
A: I just eat whatever my mom puts in front of me.
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?
A: I like to call them traditions and mine is taking a nap before every game.
Q: Is there a reason you chose your jersey number?
A: I almost didn’t chose 77, because I couldn’t think of any great players who wore the number. Then I realized I should take the number and build my own legacy around 77.
Q: What position, other than the ones you currently play, would you like to try and why?
A: I love playing the line too much to try something different.
Q: What drill do you dislike running the most in practice?
A: Our coaches do a really great job of making practice a place we want to be. There is nothing that I dislike.
Q: Do you root for the Huskies or Cougars and why?
A: Both my parents attended WSU, so I am encouraged to root for the Cougars.
Q: Who is your favorite NFL player and why?
A: Cam Newton! I am a huge Auburn fan, so when he transitioned to the NFL, he stayed my favorite. Also, he never seems to disappoint me in fantasy football.
Q: What do you think is the best sports movie and why?
A: “Invincible.” The Vince Papale story is the best, because it shows how you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
Q: What other sports do you like to play?
A: I’ve been throwing shot put in high school and have been successful, so I would say I enjoy track and field.
Q: What do you plan to do after you are done with high school?
A: The plan is to attend a college, where I can play football and get a great secondary education. I am undecided on what I want to study.
Q: What other hobbies do you have?
A: I trap shoot, target shoot and just recently finished hunter’s safety, so I’ll be spending more time outdoors.
Q: What is the most played song on your phone/iPod?
A: My most played on my iPod is “Radioactive” by Imagine Dragons.
Q: What is your favorite TV show and why?
A: ”Friday Night Lights” is one of my all-time favorite TV series. I once watched all the seasons in three days on Netflix. I like it because it gets me hyped to play football.
Q: What is your favorite video game?
A: “Halo!” I’ve been playing since I was 7.
Q: What is your most favorite and least favorite class in school and why?
A: My all-time favorite class at Blaine was world history with Mr. Mike Grambo, because he is my favorite teacher. If I had to choose a least favorite class it is probably freshman biology.
