Storm (3-0, 1-0 3A Wesco North) update: Squalicum still hasn’t lost a 3A Wesco North game, as it beat Marysville-Pilchuck 38-28 on Sept. 15. Triston Smith led the way rushing for 190 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries (11.2 average) and catching a 29-yard touchdown pass from Spencer Lloyd, who rushed for 81 yards and a TD. Ja’Lique Martin rushed for 48 yards and three carries.

Key to the game: After allowing 70 points two weeks ago, Squalicum’s defense played much better last week, but the Storm still allowed Pilchuck back in the game. Coach Nick Lucey would love to put together a complete game this week.

Player to watch: Squalicum’s Jose Hernandez had his biggest game of the year, so far, catching four passes for 73 yards against Pilchuck. He’s also a vital piece of the Storm’s defense.

Prediction: Squalicum 48-10
