BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

Lummi steadily and patiently improved its field-goal accuracy in the state Class 1B State Tournament, going from 22 for 53 in the quarterfinals to 20 for 46 in the semifinals to 20 for 43 in the Blackhawks’ 54-33 win over Neah Bay in the title game. Brothers Trazil and Kavarez Lane finished 22 for 36 and 11 for 27 from the field, respectively, in three solid showings each time out.
