Scouting report: The Saints are making their first state appearance since 2009. Seattle Lutheran had to come from behind in their regional to advance to Spokane. Garrett Ball’s 3-pointer with just under two minutes left tied the game, and Josh Meyer put Seattle Lutheran ahead with about a minute left. Meyer and Xavier Turner each had 11 points in the game.

Cusick was out-rebounded 37-30 in the game, but held Garfield-Palouse to 32.8-percent shooting from the field. Tyson Shanholtzer chipped in 13 points, while Spirit White had 10.

Truong Tran led the Tigers with 22 points, including four 3-pointers. Daylon Harn chipped in 11, and Jerrod Harn had 10. Entiat jumped out to a 31-14 lead by halftime in a game that was never close.

Scouting report: Lummi is making its first trip to Spokane since 2011. After it jumped out to an early lead in the regional round, Mount Rainier Lutheran rallied. Brothers Trazil and Kavarez Lane had a 17-3 run by themselves to put the game away. Trazil scored 10 of his game-high 21 points during the run, while Kavarez finished with 13. Austin Brockie added 12 points for the Blackhawks, who out-rebounded the Hawks 32-15.

Neah Bay’s leading scorer Abraham Venske was limited by an ankle injury in the regional round, but Ryan Moss stepped up to score nine of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, including the Red Devils’ final four points in a wild finish. Venske still scored 19, while John Reamer added 11.

Tyson Feider led the Pirates with 19 points in the game, while Cole Mayfield added 12.

Cody Grumbach led the Cougars with 15 points, while Daniel Tresham pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, and the Cougars won the battle of the boards 26-16.

Jovi Fevaleaki then made the lead stand with a block of a Taholah 3-point shot attempt at the buzzer.
