Payton Linville G Sr. 5-7 5.6
Emilia Gimmaka P Jr. 5-7 6.9
Brianna Turner P Jr. 6-1 9.5

Scouting the Pioneers: The Pioneers were close to not making the postseason at all, but Nooksack was victorious in a mini-playoff and then cruised through the district and bi-district tournaments, only losing to No. 1-ranked King’s. Nooksack doesn’t necessarily have one star, but can score from all over the court — five different players average at least six points.

Key to the game: Utilizing Brianna Turner. The 6-1 post is averaging 9.5 points per game but has had her ups and downs. Nooksack tends to look for the matchup advantage and Turner will be it against Granger.

Player to watch: Mariah Perry has scored anywhere from 3 to 20 points this year. She’s streaky but a great player when she gets going.
