Scouting the Lyncs: After ending their season in the tri-district tournament last season, the Lyncs are back in state this year. LC is led by the combination of talented junior guard Zach Roetcisoender and senior forward Cody Fransen. Junior guard Jake Poag is a lethal 3-point shooter, and Blake Mellema, Jake Van Berkum and Lucas Roetcisoender provide quality minutes.

Key to the game: La Center is a strong offensive rebounding team. Limiting the Wildcats to one shot per possession will be key for LC.

Max Hiller F Sr. 6-2 3.0

Scouting the Wildcats: La Center had won five straight before losing 45-28 to Castle Rock in its district title game. The 28 points was by far the Wildcats’ lowest scoring total. La Center is led by senior guards Will Rice and Wyatt Aguirre, who both love to push the pace. Junior Brody Setter is another strong player. La Center is a small, quick group that loves to shoot the deep ball.

Key to the game: The Wildcats are at their best in transition, and surely scoring points at a furious pace should help La Center.

Player to watch: Will Rice can score with the best 1A players in the state. He likes to get up and down the court and should make for an exciting watch.
