The Hawks have played Lummi twice already this year, losing 61-45 on Dec. 13 and 64-32 on Feb. 17.

Key to the game: Lummi has a number or scorers. If Mount Rainier Christian can contain leading scorer Trazil Lane they could have a chance.

Scouting the Blackhawks: The No. 1-ranked Blackhawks have been dominant all season, beating teams by an average of 26.5 points, but Lummi’s closest scare came last week in a 58-56 win over Neah Bay. Standout sophomore Trazil Lane leads the team with 17.6 points per game, but the Blackhawks also have talented seniors Dean Williams, Kavarez Lane, Austin Brockie, Willie Jones and Jacob Robers.

Key to the game: Lummi twice has beaten Mount Rainier Lutheran. Still taking the Hawks seriously should put the Blackhawks in the right mindset to earn a win.

Player to watch: Kavarez Lane has scored more than his average the past four games. He should be good again.
