Lynden dominates Sedro-Woolley

Lynden’s girls’ basketball team defeated Sedro-Woolley 67-26 on Friday, Dec. 5, at Lynden.

Lions senior Caitlyn Mark led the gaem with 26 points, 11 of those coming in the first eight minutes.

“Caitlyn took the initiative to get her stuff going,” Lynden coach Rob Adams said in a phone interview. “She hit four 3-pointers in a row to start, that really set the tempo for the way we wanted to play.”

With such a high scoring game, Adams noted that the Lions’ play was extremely unselfish and they did a good job sharing the ball.

Lynden’s next game will be against Anacortes at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, at Anacortes.
