Korthuis perfect at plate to lead Lynden Christian over Bellingham

Lynden Christian’s softball team defeated Bellingham 11-1 in six innings on Tuesday, May 12, at Bellingham High School.

Lynden Christian was led by Jenah Korthuis’ 3 for 3 performance at the plate and Smit went 2 for 4 with a double.

“They beat us in every facet of the game,” Bellingham coach Rick Ellis said in a phone interview. “They played like a team that was playing for something. We were a little flat today.”
