Garcia allows three hits in 13-2 win against Sedro-Woolley

Anthony Garcia pitched a complete game, giving up three hits and two unearned runs to lead Lynden’s baseball team to a 13-2 victory against Sedro-Woolley on Monday, May 4, at Janicki Fields.

“He did a really good job and threw 21 first-pitch strikes,” Lynden coach Cory White said in a phone interview. “Getting ahead in the count helped him.”

The Lions’ Jordan Wittenberg went 4 for 5 with a triple and an RBI, Dalton Ohligschlager went 3 for 3 with four runs and an RBI, Jared House went 2 for 4 with two RBI and Anthony Garcia went 2 for 5 with two RBI.

Lynden will take on South Whidbey at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, on the road.
