Squalicum walks 13 batters in 15-0 loss to Lyncs

Lynden Christian’s softball team defeated Squalicum 15-0 on Monday, April 27, at Lynden Christian High School.

The Lyncs were only able to get four hits in the game. The Storm allowed 13 walks and hit a batter, Lynden Christian was able to take advantage.

“We were the beneficiary of walks today,” Lynden Christian coach Mitch Moorlag said in a phone interview. “We’ve been working on our plate discipline. Obviously the girls were looking for their pitch to hit and we were happy with that.”

Lynden Christian will take on Burlington-Edison next at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, on the road. Squalicum will play Sedro-Woolley next at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at home.
